What I mind is when you assume that I'm just kidding, or that I'll "grow out of it", or that all you need to do is ask me enough.
But I don't mind if you're not straight edge, and I won't bitch at you for doing drugs or drinking, as long as you understand that I refuse to.

Okay, I just want to make something clear to the non straight-edge people..
Straight-edge DOES NOT mean...
-You have to have Xs on your hands. My hands are Xless.
-You listen to straight-edge bands. I listen to none of them.
-You have to avoid coffee, painkillers, medicines, etc. Straight-edgers are only against recreational drugs/alcohol.
-You are an uncreative, depressed loser with no friends or ambitions. I am straight-edge but life is great. I am not depressed and I have a big imagination, allowing me to be creative without needing stupid drugs.
You can be straight-edge without looking or acting exactly like a stereotypical straight-edge person, basically.
