Original Species Stamp

Okay, this one probably deserves some explanation.

A lot of the time, people -- sparkleartists and gloomartists in particular -- will come up with ~special~ original species that are usually just generic dogs with special ~powers~, or maybe spikes on its ass or wings or someshit.

I'm not going to pretend my original species (the y'giagao, Nature's Buttmonkey) is particularly amazing or special, but goddammit, at least it's not a dog. (It's more like an overgrown rat-lemur-bat-fennec-ferret... and fennec only for the giant ears.)

In making an original species, you're given a free pass to create anything you want-- maybe play mix-and-match with dozens of traits, maybe smash two unexpected animals together, or make something entirely out of left field. So why just make a thousand SPECIAL doggies?

There are way more animals in the world to draw inspiration from than just dogs, you know.
