Anti-Straight Pride Stamp

As of Oct. 23, 2010, comments have been disabled, because it has once again devolved into the same old "YOU'RE A STUPID MEANIEHAD!" and "YEAH, BRO!", and it's getting repetitive to have a dozen comments I've heard a million times before every single time I sign in. Trust me, you're not going to bring anything new to the table.

Either +fav it or move on.

To clarify: This isn't about feeling good about who you are. It's Pride, capital-P Pride, as in the context of Gay Pride, which is having small-P pride when society tells you that you're not supposed to be happy with who you are. It's okay to be happy with who you are, but think about it: if someone says "White Pride!" you're probably going to think of them as a racist idiot.
That's what this is about.

It's like a child asking their parents why they have a Mother's day and a Father's day, but no Children's Day, and his parents say that it's because every day is children's day.

You don't need to remind people that you have rights.
You don't need to fight to be treated like a human being.

Are you so fucking threatened by us being treated like real people that you see our pride that you have to take that pride away by trying to turn it into "oh, straight people have rights too!"? Sorry, nobody ever forgot that. Sorry, straight people aren't under-represented in the media.
